On Sunday 2nd June, representatives of Allied Protek will be running the annual Great Grimsby 10k on behalf of the Horizon Youth Zone.
Currently under construction in the heart of Grimsby, the state-of-the-art Horizon Youth Zone is named by the young people of Grimsby and is being brought to life by OnSide, a national charity with a proven track record of creating successful Youth Zones across the UK.
As founding patrons of the Horizon project, Allied Protek were invited by Horizon to represent them in the annual event. On behalf of Allied Protek, Compliance Manager Lucy Wilson will be taking to the streets of Grimsby after her recent conquering of the Paris Marathon. She will be joined by Head of Marketing, Sam Strandt, who is participating in his first event of this kind.
All donations received will contribute to the development, construction and ongoing operation of the Horizon Youth Zone, providing a safe and inspiring space for young people to thrive. You can donate via the following JustGiving page, set up in partnership with Horizon.
