OUR APPROACH

Safety Standards

As an engineering company, we hold safety, health, environment and quality in high regard. These core values solidify the foundations of our business, meaning the high standards we promise to our clients are always followed through with the best possible support.

Our dedicated management teams are aided by our integrated management system – accredited to ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 – in the attainment of our SHEQ goals and objectives. Our systems have been certificated by the British Standards Institute (BSI) since 2011, and are maintained via frequent surveillance auditing by BSI, our internal SHEQ department and various third party auditors.

We pride ourselves on our performance to date and are committed to delivering on these values at all times.

CONSTRUCTION, DESIGN & MANAGEMENT

We aim to provide our clients with a proactive, professional CDM – construction, design and management – service that is tailored to match their particular requirements. By providing crucial advice, CDM makes a tangible contribution to the development of safer designs and work site management.

QUALITY

It is our mission to provide products and services that fully and consistently meet the needs and expectations of our customers. And as such, we have developed a Quality Management System that is accredited to BS EN ISO 9001.

A principal step in all projects, our quality planning enables us to identify satisfactory and relevant standards. For example, the plans include all control measures and assurance activities to ensure we consistently satisfy our clients’ expectations through the products and services we deliver.

PASSION FOR QUALITY

Health and Safety

The Health and Safety of our employees and those potentially affected by our activities is of our utmost importance. One of our stated HSE objectives is continual improvement towards zero accidents and incidents for all projects and business operations. Our strategy for achieving this includes the following key principles:

» Leadership – Must be focused and unwavering in their commitment to excellence.

» Monitoring and Auditing – We keep watch to ensure our values are being put into practise.

» Risk control:

  • We understand our risks and how to control them.
  • We apply the ‘principles of prevention’ into our design work, thus eliminating, or reducing H&S risks at source.
  • We have clearly defined competency standards.
  • We ensure our work activities and standards are thoroughly planned and communicated.
  • We expect our employee’s behaviour to be exemplary, which is supported by effective Supervision.
