Allied Protek are delighted to have become part of North East Lincolnshire Council’s Fostering Bright Futures campaign, joining forces with our friends at Humber Recruitment to support this important community initiative.
At Allied Protek, we believe our responsibility goes beyond the projects we deliver. Supporting our people and giving back to the community we’re part of is just as important. That’s why joining Fostering Bright Futures felt like a natural step for us.
Earlier in September, we welcomed Fostering Recruitment Officer, Emily Goodwin to our offices to talk with our team about the campaign and what it means to the community. Emily explained how the campaign can transform the lives of children in care and how employers can play a vital role by making the journey easier for foster carers in the workplace.
By being part of Fostering Bright Futures, we’re committing to being a foster-friendly employer. This means we’ll offer flexibility where it’s needed most to those who are already foster carers or those wishing to begin, whether that’s time off for training, space for meetings, or simply understanding the unique responsibilities that come with being a foster carer.
We know that when our people feel supported, they can thrive both in their roles here at Allied Protek and in their personal lives. Joining this campaign is another way of showing that we value our team, their families, and the communities we’re all part of.
We’re proud to be standing alongside other local employers who have also joined the campaign. Together, we can help create brighter futures for children and young people across North East Lincolnshire.
If you’d like to find out more about the campaign, whether you’re curious about becoming a foster carer yourself or want to learn how your organisation can get involved, you can reach out directly at fosteringandadoption@nelincs.gov.uk or visit the North East Lincolnshire Council fostering website.
