Process Engineer

Grimsby

We are looking to add a Process Engineer to our fantastic team. This is a full-time, permanent contract, working Monday to Friday from our Grimsby office.

The successful Process Engineer will:

  • Come from a food, science or engineering environment
  • Have proven analytical and problem solving skills within a food manufacturing process environment
  • Have experience in Process Development and Process Commercialisation
  • Display outstanding stakeholder management skills
  • Be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a pressurised environment
  • Ideally be degree educated within a relevant field

The Process Engineer role involves:

  • Representing Process R&D in multi-functional project meetings with minimal to no supervision
  • Providing Process leadership in projects with minimal to no supervision
  • Managing project communications relating to process issues, including commercial team and Supply chain team with minimal to no supervision
  • Ensuring all process procedures and methodologies are adhered to
  • Developing process specifications for given project

Experience:

  • Process Development: 1 year (preferred)
  • Process Commercialisation: 1 year (preferred)

Project Manager

Grimsby

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of high value and varied projects from inception through to completion.

The successful candidate will have a broad remit of responsibility ranging from engaging stakeholders, project governance and project delivering whilst providing leadership across multiple teams to achieve project milestones.

Core requirements and role objectives:

  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within budget and meet customers’ specifications.
  • Managing Project Schedules, Budgets and KPI’s.
  • Visiting customers sites for sales support, design meetings and to present project status reports.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning stages.
  • Liaise with Design and Manufacturing Teams.
  • Select, Coordinate and supervise sub-contractors.
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and update project documentation.
  • Support sales by reviewing proposed applications and providing technical advice.

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering capital projects.
  • Ideally, a background within the Food Manufacturing Industry, Pharmaceutical or similar FMCG environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Qualified to ONC/HNC level in Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.

Estimator

Grimsby

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to ensure robust, accurate and innovative tender responses across the project fronts. This will range from individual fabrications through to larger, more complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have broad commercial skills and a strong background in estimating. You must understand the commercial drivers, risk profiles and key success factors for Clients procuring fabrication and site installation works.

It is essential that the Estimator helps to develop clients and work opportunities. There is a growing team of project engineers and managers to help support bid processes.

Core requirements and role objectives:

  • Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt.
  • Prepare and issue material supply enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt.
  • Sub-contract negotiation.
  • Site measurement.

It is advantageous is the candidate has technical working experience and RICS.

Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator

Runcorn or Grimsby based

We are currently looking for time served Sheet Metal Workers and Fabricators  who hold either an NVQ or City & Guilds in Sheet Metal / Fabrication work. We require the candidates to be competent in working with stainless steel and possess the ability to weld in both TIG and MIG to a good standard.

  • You should be able to interpret engineering drawing to aid you in the manufacture of sheet metal fabrications.
  • You will need to be highly organised, with the ability to follow instructions, have a comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations and an ability to work on your own initiative with problem solving capabilities. At times you will be working under pressure and to deadlines, but at all times you will need excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Ideally you will also hold an SPA although this is not essential as full training will be given.
  • You should be able to travel and be prepared to work away from home occasionally.

Pipe Fitter

Grimsby

Our leading engineering business is looking for Pipefitters to work on a project in Grimsby.

About the role:

  • Installation of a variety of pipework as required (Mapress preferred)
  • Any other duties as and when required

What you will need:

  • Valid CSCS Skills Card
  • Valid SPA Food and Drink Card
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in pipe fitting

What’s in it for you:

  • Salary: £16.45 per hour
  • 3-4 Weeks work
  • Working 11.5 hours per day
  • 5-7 Days per week
